Believe me I know what it's like to go with out a phone. It's not fun at all..
1. Replace your battery

2. Remove all and any dirt on the phones charging connectors

3. Clean the USB cable connectors both ends

4. Clean your PC's USB connection

5. Clean your phones dock connector

6. Do not use a keyboard to charge your phone

7. Plug your phone directly into a wall socket

8. Last chance: Restore in DFU mode.

9. Try this link http://support.apple.com/kb/ts2802

10. If you see the image

charge the phone with an iPhone USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.

11. Try restarting the phone by holding down
sleep/wake button and home button together for 18-20 seconds.

12. If there is some juice left turn your phone off for 20 minutes.

13. Make sure that you have the latest software update

14. Use a different USB cable

15. A pin may be damaged on your phone.

16. If there is some power left try force-restoring it via iTunes:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808(iOS: Unable to update or restore

17. Try a air duster on the connectors gets it going again.

18. Go to settings on your iphone. Then under Settings, go to General category. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and hit the reset button.  It will ask you: ARE YOU SURE? Which is when you hit the yes button.

Well that's it. If any of you have more suggestions please add a comment and I'll add it to the above list. Also let me know if my blog was helpful.   If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning iPhone off and then on again.   If the issue persists, try resetting the iPhone while connected to the iPhone charger.

3. Restore your iPhone to the factory setting's. Be warned this will erase all your data. Better to have lost your info then not to have a phone that doesn't work. You'll have to go to iTunes to do this and press the RESTORE button.
a)Plug the iPhone's USB cable into the dock connector, but not into your computer
b)Hold down the iPhone's Home button
c)Now plug the other end of the USB cable into your computer
d)This will open iTunes, put the iPhone into recovery mode, and let you completely restore the iPhone.
